For the low cost of these are not match grade so don't expect match grade results! Excellent for center of mass at 200 yards. Son was home and off to the range we went. Using his SR556 and 10 different brands of store bought ammo, guess which gave him the best grouping? Dad's reloads using Everglades 223 lead core 62 grains bullets. (Posted on 10/4/2016)
62gr lead core bulletsReview by Jake

I ordered these several months ago. For some reason I have been unable to get repeatable COAL with these bullets. I thought that my press was at fault until I decided to measure the overall length of each bullet. The lengths all vary as do the ogives. I measured 100 bullets and was lucky to get 10 of the same length. When I use a better quality bullet my COAL is always within +- .003. With these I am getting +- .015 and even worse. They do the job of punching holes in paper but point of impact is very inconsistent. I am now seating each individual load as if I were using a single stage and setting the bullet seating die different for each load. The price is great but if you are trying to shoot for MOA you will need to spend a little more for a better bullet. (Posted on 9/26/2016)
62gn FMJ lead core Review by Matthew
Overall Rating
The weight of these bullets are pretty darn good. All that I have weighed have been within 1gn. The bottom of the bullets are very inconsistent. Some have flat cores and others concave/convex. The length of the bullets are also is very inconsistent. Usually due to the points being more blunt.

Overall, for the price of these bullets, they are great! Good for a fun day at the range or plinking. I would not use them when accuracy is critical. (Posted on 9/24/2016)

I ordered 300 rds of these 62 gr. Fmj,s I'm getting excellent groups with these. Shooting my Ruger Ranch in 5.56 and my Rossi heavy barrel single shot. I'm reloading with 25grs. Winchester 748. Planning on another order soon. Thanks to the folks at Everglades Ammo! (Posted on 5/17/2016)
Smokes factory ammo. Review by Gnarmageddon

I'm new to reloading my own rounds, but beyond the free 100 hornady I got with my setup, my first big order was from Everglades. Ran 6 30 rd pmags of these with 26.5 gr (+/- .1) of Hodgdon BL-C(2). Amazing how much tighter my groups are compared to factory ammo.

Just ordered another 1000. I'm sure I'll try other projectiles while I learn more, but you've got a customer for life. (Posted on 5/11/2016)

I ordered this on 10/22. On 10/19 I ordered a similar product from Wideners. Wideners was cheaper but when you add in shipping it was the same. As I type this (10/26) I have my ammo from Everglades in hand and I am STILL waiting for Wideners. Will buy from Everglades again. (Posted on 10/26/2012)
great price, fast ship, spot on at 100 yards.Review by Anthony

Great deal, .224 dia. I weighed them at 61.9, well within the margin of error. These shot better than my military green tip. Crimped these on top of 24.8 grains of Varget, out of about ten rounds in a 15 mph cross wind i had about a 2 inch pattern with 3 actually touching and trust me I'm no marksman. I will order more (Posted on 10/22/2012)

After a couple of batches with different powders and primers
I was able to print a dime size group with these bullets @
100 Yards. Every rifle is different but my DPMS H-Bar Classic 20" 1:9 twist liked these bullets best with the 5.56 loads.
My best load was 26.6g of CFE-223 and the CCI-BR4 primers.
These were pretty hot and the primers after fireing looked
exactly like a factory 5.56. Velocity was 3155 acording to
Chrony with a SD of 12.2.
I wouldnt use this load in a bolt rifle marked 223 Rem
but if you start at 25g of the CFE-223 you should find a good
harmonic for any rifle with a 1:10 to 1:7 twist.
This should be a great Hog killer or varmint or Target Bullet.

Mariece Ward, Gunsmith of 28 years.

P.S. I told my wife I want Santa to bring me 1000 of these
Bullets and a couple pounds of CFE.
Happy Shooting everyone and be safe. (Posted on 10/20/2012)
