Dillon is the BestReview by Dan

I purchased my Square Deal in 9mm two years ago. I have loaded 30k rounds in those two years. The machine works flawlessly. I had one broken part that Dillon replaced immediately. The ammo produced by this machine is accurate and reliable. I have not had a problem with even one round produced on this machine. (Posted on 4/30/2020)

I have two SD presses and have loaded thousands of rounds with great success, 9mm, 38/357 and 45ACP. Dillon has no excuse lifetime guarantee and provides replacement parts at no cost. The other reviewer just needs to contact Dillon and they will take care of him. (Posted on 4/12/2019)
Great machine for moderate reloading needsReview by Shadow Shooter
Overall Rating
I've had a Square Deal B for about 5 years and have loaded over 75,000 rounds. This machine does a great job, and meets all my needs. I load both 9 mm and 45 ACP. I've used several different powders including TiteGroup, Silhouette, CFE Pistol WSF, WST, W231, Sport Pistol, AA #7, IMR Target, Unique and Bullseye. All these powders meter fine, usually within +/- 0.04 gr. Some are more consistent than others. I have had a couple of parts break. When I called Dillon, they didn't ask me how or why, they just wanted to know what I needed, then sent the replacement part at no charge. The customer service is outstanding in other areas as well, and I would not hesitate to buy another Dillon press. I do recommend the strong mount base shown in the photo.
Higher volume reloaders may want to consider the 550 or 650. (Posted on 4/12/2019)
2 issues but very useableReview by James
Overall Rating
I bought this several months ago and have reloaded about 1000 rounds so far. It does a great job but I do have 2 issues that should not happen.
1. Primers sometimes gets inverted in the primer tube. It gets so bad that I can't use it as a full progressive, I have to get past the primer seating to make sue the primer dropped in right side up for seating. So I de-prime all my brass and clean the pockets then I can use this as progressive for remaining rounds once I see primmer is right side facing up.
2. Powder not always dispensed correctly. Sometimes too much, sometimes too little but not very often. I use CFE Pistol powder which is spherical so I wouldn't expect it to not dispense properly unless it is statically clinging or if it is clumping. I know it isn't clumping so it may be static cling. I am afraid to use a dryer de-clinging agent in the powder tube just because of chemical to chemical reactions. I know the tube creates static because when I empty it I have to use compressed air to remove from the sides of the plastic tube.

What I would like is to fix the dispensing issue and to fix the static issue.

What I like is that once I set to exact grains I want, it does stay locked in. So I give it a 3 because of the 2 issues. Other than that I love the Sq Deal B.
