Great for 300 BLKReview by Doug
Overall Rating
This is just a repeat of all the previous reviews. I ordered a 1000 pieces and after culling, had over 1000 reformed 300 BLK. The brass seems softer than your standard .223/5.56 brass. I was concerned if they would handle the pressure of loaded rounds. The reviews go back to 2013 and nothing below 5 stars so they must work ok. I've only fired a handful and have had no issues even with a second reloading. Just purchased 1000 more. (Posted on 12/20/2019)

Ordered 500 cases and found 479- good, 7- 223 good, 1-live blank ,and 40 -nfg. I am super happy and just ordered another 1000 more. They are cut down to 300 blk specs. this was my 2nd order from Everglades and 3rd will be on its way. Good service and good prices.Keep it up! (Posted on 10/5/2019)

I got 500 fired blanks to form 300 Blk and they are perfect!
I cut necks off, yes some weren't fired maybe 4 no big deal, decapped and cleaned. I try not to run dirty brass through good dies, and resized to 300 Blk, then I trimmed them and primed them up.
I only had 11 that were squished and I ironed 10 of them back out and they resized fine with only 1 scrap! The brass holds shape in chamber gauge, unlike some PMC.
I have pride and enjoy being able to make my own brass and I know all the steps and quality, so a little time isn't a problem.
I ordered when the hurricane was supposed to hit Florida so I was concerned, Steve is absolutely on top of things and assured me my order would be delivered on time and it was! Thanks to Steve for all his consideration and time! (Posted on 9/29/2019)
Satisfied...Review by Ricardo

Just got my order, 2500 pieces went through them and found around 60+ unfired blanks and a quarter of those had light primer strikes!...so beware even looking at a struck primer doesn't mean it went bang now I have to go through them again as I didn't catch on till I was 400 + pieces in...and got quite a few regular 5.56 brass mixed in...and maybe 50 or so unusable...all in all not bad for the price...will write more after I reload and test a few.. About 30 shell had damage, but was able to use 25 of them. All in all, I have app 500 usable pieces of brass. I will order more soon. Thank-you Everglades
Oh, when you get your brass, look out for live Blanks. I got one. (Posted on 8/25/2017)

I bought 2,000 of these and set up a cutting ($55 for the chop saw) operation on the back porch. I would cut, size, and decap ten at a time, sometimes for several hours. After three weeks, I had 2,000 useable 300 AAC cases and some 40 unfired blanks, which I used for 4th of July. I've cast a variety of bullet weights and tried a variety of store bought bullets. I think I crushed three cases sizing them, so I got over 100% useable cases out of the lot. Some had been stepped on and were mashed flat, so after I cut them off, I carefully opened them up with needle nose pliers, and they sized. I am really pleased with them and recommend them for 300 AAC. I shot 50 at the range today. No misfires, jams, stove pipes or extraction issues. I was using copper plated 110 grain 30 caliber carbine bullets. (Posted on 5/6/2016)
Great product -- great price -- great service !!!Review by Donald B.

I was absolutely amazed at the price, quality, and ever so prompt service offered by Everglades. This was my first time dealing with these folks but I highly doubt it will be the last. Among the 2,000 5.56 blank cases I ordered I found perhaps no more than 15 or 20 unusable cases (either too corroded or stomped by elephants). As I'm interested in converting these to 7.62 Tokarev a few mangled shoulders don't bother me in the least. Based upon this sample, I would highly recommend lots such as this to other reloaders. Finally you got more of these in. Thanks for the fast shipping. I made a quick survey of my order and found I had 1,027 usable and only 9 to throw-away as scrap. Will save them until after hunting season closes the end of the year, then start the process of cleaning, cutting off, deburring, removing military primer crimp, and making 300 Blackouts. This lot seemed dirtier than the first 2 years ago, but no big deal. Can't beat your price anywhere. Thanks! (Posted on 8/24/2015)

I was highly pleased on my order. Arrived quickly. Several were crushed beyond repair, but I expected that for a bulk order. Still came out with close to a 1000 usable cases. Making 300 Blackout, so the super low price makes it worth the little extra effort to make ammo to my specs. Hurry up and get some more in. Everywhere else is charging $90 and more per 1000 for brass. (Posted on 3/7/2014)
Good brass but anealing concernsReview by William
Overall Rating
I use this to form 300 BO. I also anneal the brass as well using a commercial annealer. My concern is that the blank cartridge case does not produce the same annealing color as a wide assortment of military brass. I'm wondering if the brass contains a slightly different composition. Time will tell. (Posted on 3/6/2014)
A great dealReview by wpoulton

If you are looking for brass to convert to 300 AAC Blackout or 7.62x25 Tokarev this is the brass for you. I ended up with about 20 5.56 regular brass mixed in and only about 5 or 6 blank brass that was too dented/smashed to be used for anything. FYI this brass is dirty and some is corroded but all cleaned up nicely. (Posted on 3/5/2014)

This is the stuff to get to convert to 300 AAC! About 95% yield. It's a fantastic deal! (Posted on 1/5/2014)
I like it!Review by CohetaMan

Inexpensive, but about one out of ten cases are unsalvageable. Still a pretty good deal. Brass cleans up very nice in a sonic cleaner. I like the low-case "cannelure," too. Gives the brass some character. (Posted on 12/18/2013)
Great PriceReview by Z.

This brass was exactly as described. I wanted it for 300 Blackout and can't beat the price even though some is dented and unusable. I'll sell the unusable and cut off ends for scrap. Tarnished brass is no problem for me, but it will be cleaned in both walnut and corncob media. Very fast shipping was appreciated, now I can spend the cold snowy days cutting down the brass and reforming. (Posted on 12/13/2013)
Good for 300blkReview by 300blk

Cut down for 300blk work good. All mine were LC. Case weights were all very close which does affect velocity of subsonics. The way to go for 300blk (Posted on 11/23/2013)
so so stuffReview by downrange

I agree that the stuff is really dirty and there were a lot of unusable brass. I ended up with 900 (give or take) usable pieces.
If I were to buy more I think I would ask that they tumble them first. I tumbled mine for four hours in corn cobb and they still barely shine. (Posted on 11/19/2013)
Will purchase againReview by moose

If you are forming 300 blackout brass this is the best way to go. No extra or special work needed to form from these blanks. I didn't count total received or number of discards but ended with 918 usable pieces. Brass was super dirty but still a huge bargain at $52 shipped. I will purchase again. (Posted on 11/3/2013)
