Dual PurposeI live out in the country and find myself sharing ground with coyotes that come out in the daylight..... sometimes around noon, even. Two years ago I bought my first AR having somehow avoiding it for forty-five years of hunting. While testing your bullets at targets recently on my property, one of my pests stepped out into sight some 150 yards away and took a SS109 to the head. I don't like using solids for hunting applications, but it was all I had at the time. My AR loves those bullets, so I'm back for more!

as expectedFirst let me say if you are looking for a accurate round this is not it though I was pleasantly surprised by the accuracy of them from a lighter load. I ran 24.5 gr of blc-2 for a 50 yard grouping of 3/4 of an inch from a 16 inch chrome lined tube 1/9 twist. 80 yard grouping of a little over an inch. These are not great spec rounds projectile length will vary and weight will vary but for a cheap plinker projectile this is the 1 (just don't try to shoot any steel with them). They are cheaper than most plinker 55 gr hollow base fmj rounds and do better out of my twist than lighter bullets so clean em' up.
