I initially ordered these for my Inland carbine & they worked great! Very uniform & accurate.
I had read somewhere that some were using carbine bullets in their .30-30s for Cowboy Silhouette matches for the chicken targets & decided to try them for that. With a scope on my Marlin Cowboy, these bullets groups of one inch at 100Y with a moderate load of either Red Dot or Green Dot powder!
Decided to try them on the pigs at 100Y as they were so accurate, but wondered if they would take down the heavier (apx. 40#) target.
They scored 10 chickens & 9 pigs (pulled it) at a match this Sat. I did not do too well with the Turkeys (3) & Rams (5) though, as I am still trying to figure out loads & sight settings. After the match, we fooled around shooting down the left over tgts. & my buddy said "Why don't you try that C-P load at the Turkeys (150Y). I did & knocked down 4 of the 5 that I shot at (pulled one)! So, I guess this little 110 gr carbine bullet will now be my Turkey load. If Everglades gets inj a 170 gr. flat nose, I'd that should work on the rams!

Shooting a VZ58 - 7.62x39 with a .308 bore dia. I started out light for the kids I teach and had feeding problems. Not cycling completely. After a few test batches I settled on
IMR 4198 Weight of 19.0 G. Works great for me and the kids love it with very little recoil. It also works good in a standard SKS by Norinco with a standard bore of.311. I would recommend these to everyone for a great training round. Accuracy not too bad either. Around 2" @ 50 Yards. I have been using these for now around 3 years.

Function just fine in front of 12 grains of Alliant 2400 in a Auto Ordinance .30 Carbine. Accuracy as good as jacketed bullets.

They load and function good in my 30 carbine and leave no stripping in barrel showing copper removed from lead so after shooting cleanup is easy. Will buy more soon

I have been shooting these bullets in a military carbine for a year now. Weight and size are spot on. Grouping with 15 grains h-110 at 25 yards is 1 inch and at 100 yards 5 inches. These are great bullets at a very good price with fast shipping!

I just finished testing Everglades .30 carbine 110 grain plated lead bullet. My major concern as a reloader were that the plating wouldn't hold up to the pressure & heat of a fully charged M1 carbine load (14 grains of H110). Besides leading the barrel, I was warned anything other than full metal jacket rounds could seize the piston and plug the gas port. To repair the rifle from such an occurrence is a nightmare.

To find out if this was actually an issue, I shot a round into my swimming pool. It traveled over 4' into my deep end. I was pleased to see the plating held up 100% at the base of the bullet. Also worth noting is the jagged slug had expanded to 60 caliber and retained over 90% of it's weight. Seems to me they're not only perfect for plinking, but may make a venerable self defense or hunting round too.

The Everglades 110 grain .30 carbine rounds go for $162 for 2,000 rounds with free shipping. That brings them to about .08 cents a round. So when you add the primers and powder, I can shoot .30 carbine for close to the same cost as .22LR. Not bad.

I ordered 1000 to use with my .300 AAC. and decided to actually use them before writing a review. Package came to me quickly in Florida, intact.
I don't care how great things look, for me it's all about functionality. I read all the reviews and found them very informative- loaded to 1.185 (being sure all the rounds are at the back of the magazine!!), I have zero feed issues. Also after reading the review about seemingly harsh cycling, I went with a relatively light load using Lil' Gun, and everything so far has run smoothly (carbine length gas system).
I find them to be a great buy, load easily and are fun to use at a reasonable price, will definitely be buying more.

I have a Ruger mini 14 in 300blk and bought these to try. Using Lil-gun from 20gn to 13gn. I had no issues with the loads. They grouped at 25 yards better with less powder. Going to fine toon the loads and get more.

Great shinny bullets and fast shipping! 16 inch pistol straight tube, 10 rd PMAG. Shot 25 rds with no issues to eject or feed. W296 @ 1.850 inch. My lightest load of 15.1gr @ 1730fps grouped the best (1.25" @25yd). The other test loads at 16gr, 17gr, and 18gr (1880fps, 2000fps, and 2200fps) got progressively worse. The 17gr and 18gr were like patterning buckshot. Will work my way back from 15.1gr and see where the sweet spot is.
