Made to hold the 2011 pistol, the Everglades MRH is designed to hold your race gun securely in locked, half-locked and unlocked positions.
The half-locked position is intended for out-of-position moving starts and can easily be swept to the unlocked position when drawing the pistol. In the unlocked position, the roller magnets and a ball bearing lock hold the pistol firmly until drawn from the holster.
Constructed using Delrin, stainless steel and aluminum components to meet the demands of USPSA/IPSC competition.
The following grips have been tested to work with our holster.

Other grips may or may not work. Grips with trigger guards wider than .375" will not fit in the holster. Grips with the front, lower portion of the trigger guard that are rounded or chamfered will probably not work. This is the area where the lock engages the trigger guard. There is no modification to make these style grips work properly with the holster.
The draw stroke and retention will be negatively impacted on frames with light rail cuts under the dust cover. The magnets contact in this area and the cuts interfere with the proper operation.
When the holster was designed there were three or four manufactures of grips and we designed it to work with all of them. There are now many more grip manufacturers and endless modifications that have been done to the trigger guard. There is also no standard for the shape and dimensions of the 2011 grip. If it is not specifically listed above we do not have any knowledge on whether it will work or not. If there is any question we recommend you reach out to your grip manufacturer and have them send us a grip for testing and evaluation. We are happy to make modifications to accommodate new grips if it does not impact the existing grips. We have reached out to almost every grip manufacturer and received limited response.

FantasticI had not been completely satisfied with race holsters I had tried. I had 3 holsters from 2 others companies. They worked, but were not as solid as I wanted and didn't lock easily, they were just ok. The Everglades holster is everything I had hoped it would be and more. It is easy to adjust, easy to lock, and rock solid. The draw is smooth and consistent and works great with STI and SV grips. I can't explain how solid it feels. I am completely satisfied with this holster. It is well worth the price. Buy one and you won't be disappointed.

Most comfortable & most adjustable race holster on the marketI've taken my time to write this review as I was comparing it to the the original USA holster. This has the same retention as the USA version. I was a little worried as the magnetic bearings are a little smaller in diameter. I have not seen any difference after abusing this thing for 7 months now on retention at all. Still just as much adjustment available and just as fast and smooth. The big difference is in the quality of machining and hardware. Much more attention to detail and doesn't have cheap ass screws that strip before you get it finally tweaked in position. The thigh pad rounds this out as perfect and comfortable fit for me. Hands down the nicest speed holster I've had, and I've had most out there.

Update: still going strong! Fits metal grips wellI posted my first review of this holster back in September after my first match with it. I've now been using it for two full months of live and dry fire. The MRH takes all the abuse I can throw at it and keeps going strong. I just got a new open gun with a PT Evo grip, and it fits the MRH beautifully. Also, even though my new gun is much heavier than the old one, the MRH provides excellent support and no flex when the gun is in the holster.

Speed, Adjustability, and Comfort.I got the MRH and immediately did some dry fire once it showed up. It has the smoothest release of any holster I have ever felt, and that is quite a variety. I was initially concerned with knocking the gun out of the holster since it is such an easy draw, but a couple dry and live fire sessions put those fears to rest. I have had the opportunity to use it in one match so far, but it performed admirably throughout. The other thing I didn't notice until I was wearing it all day long, was how comfortable it was compared to my old holster. The belt attatchment area didn't dig into my hip nearly as severely, leading to longer term comfort even when seated.

Very fast draw! Fully adjustable.I was hesitant about spending the money on this holster. I finally made the decision to buy and I'm writing this review to let others know that this is by far the best holster in the market! It's fully adjustable and fits 2011 metal and plastic grip guns perfectly. It releases the gun with a smoothness and quickness not found in other holsters. Full adjustability, quick release, and fits all of your Open and Limited 2011 guns.

Unparalleled Quality and Superb CraftsmanshipFolks, the unparalleled quality and superb craftsmanship makes the Everglades MRH (Magnetic Race Holster), without question, the finest race holster I have ever used. And, may well be the finest Race Holster on the market to day. Over the years I have used three other race holsters from different manufacturers all of which I had to modified to meet my needs. And, not one of them remotely compares in quality the Everglades MRH.
Once I had adjusted and fine tuned the MRH to my belt position and draw technique, from the retention system, and the effortless ease with which my CK .40 Open Gun comes off the holster just makes my day. It is the best $225.00 bucks anyone could spend on a Race Holster.
I highly recommend the Everglades MRH to anyone seriously considering purchasing a Race Holster. The MRH is the only recommendation anyone, in good conscience, could make. I would have saved myself one hell of a lot of money, buying different race holsters, had I purchased the Everglades MRH First.
The MRH is a fantastic holster made in the USA by American craftsmen. I only wish it had been available before I purchased my first one. -
