223 5.56 Fired Range Brass
Keep your 223 and 5.56 loading going with clean range brass by the hundred or the thousand. It is collected from local private and law enforcement ranges. This brass is hand sorted and cleaned using a dust-free process, but is otherwise unprocessed. It has not been sorted by headstamp or primer size. Extra brass is included to cover anything missed. The 223 to 5.56 ratio varies from order to order, and the lot may contain some Berdan-primed cases. Usually ships next business day.

I needed some brass as I'm dipping my toes into reloading, most places I found either seemed cheap but charged a ton for shipping, or offered brass that would need a ton of cleaning and sorting. I stumbled upon everglades ammo and at less than 10c a case took the risk and bought 500. Man am I happy with what I got! He brass is super clean, includes a ton of Lake City and NATO stamped cases, and is in much better shape than I expected for the price. Once I wear out this batch i'll absolutely be buying from here again.

bought 500 and had no berdan primers. some of the brass had small flash holes and pulled my depriming pin out of my die. I have a universal depriming die and it worked fine. The brass came in great shape and no cleaning needed before sizing. Will buy more when needed. Thanks for a great product

I received my 250 peices of .223/5.56 brass. No issues reported. 1/3 were .223 and 2/3 were 5.56. No big deal here as all my firearms are Wlyde barreled. Brass included Norma, PMC, Hornady, Lake City and other popular names. Thanks again!

Berdan wine and cheese fest

Everglades has been a great go to. I have several large orders of “range” brass, I googled what headstamps could be berdan primed and I received a mostly accurate answer so after a couple thousand rounds I had a list of headstamps that could be berdans. Handloading gives you the opportunity to load components that aren’t normally together. The more you learn in handloading the SAFER and more Competent you become.
In close Everglades Ammo is a great asset and 5 stars is not enough. I can always find missing pieces to my project puzzles..

BEST WAY IS TO USE A DECAPPING PIN TO DISCOVER THE PRIMER HOLE... TAKES A LITTLE EXTRA TIME BUT NOT THE EXPENSE & WASTED TIME REPLACING THE DEPRIMING PIN... (jus in case yer wundering how i did it)

Bought 1000 of these on sale, terrific buy. Yes, I did run across a few Berdan primers and broke a couple $3 primer rods. But, I didn't care and I'm not going to gripe about it. I've run into the same thing picking up brass at range. Just bought some 55 gr. Ver. 4 bullets. Time to get the press warmed up.
