Best shooting 9mm bullets I have used!Review by Smbob
Overall Rating
I have been looking for a good 9mm bullet/powder combination for a long time. Couldn't get anything to group. Then I ordered 100 of these 124gr JHP 9mm
bullets from Everglades. Shipping was fast considering I live on the left coast. I loaded up some test rounds with AA#5. 5.5 grains seemed to be the sweet spot for me. Finally! A 9mm load that groups like it should! I Can't wait to order some more and get a bunch loaded up. Thank you Everglades! Great product! Great prices! Great service! Fast shipping !
They can't be beat! (Posted on 3/26/2018)
Work great on bowling pinsReview by Pinshooter74

Ordered 500 of these and used them for my bowling pin shoot. The JHP gives the 9mm an edge when shooting pins. Great fast shipping and a fantastic product. I will be ordering more soon! (Posted on 2/11/2018)
Very good for the priceReview by CZ75

I'd like to start off this review by stating that one should always follow manufacturers load safety data, and reduce your starting load from the manufacturers recommendations and work your way up to a powder charge that works well for you. That said, on with the review. I tested these bullets loaded into Winchester brass with cci 500 primers, and 5.6 grains of Alliant power pistol powder out of a 4.61" bbl CZ75 SP-01. I tested 3 rounds in to 16" of bare ballistics gel at 10 feet. All three shots expanded and separated completely from their jackets within the first 8 inches. Two of the 3 shots also exited the gel, however one was left at the 15" mark. The two that exited didn't have enough energy to pierce the paper on a phone book. They all expanded about the same at around .60". The remaining weight of the lead slugs were 97.4, 98.1, and 97.6 grains. Made a permanent wound cavity about the size of a nickel, maybe a bit bigger. So over all, for the price I'd have to highly recommend these as either target or SHTF ammo stock. Seeing as I don't ever plan on shooting through auto glass either, I would use it as a self defense load, I'm not worried about jacket separation. That's up to your personal discretion though. And of course you can't ignore the fact that these ship free of charge. Keep up the good work, everglades! (Posted on 5/29/2016)

Ordered 1000 very fast shipping. One big/heavy package and bags open inside, but bullets measure good and weight consistent. Loaded 500 and all good so far. Thanks for quality at an affordable price. (Posted on 2/13/2016)

A+for shipping, waiting to reload them, they look similar to hornady xtp but I don't know the origin of the bullet. Has a heavy rolled bottom should help with gas pressure, cci primers w231 powder and the brass is in the tumbler. (Posted on 1/22/2016)
Practice & Carry... OUTSTANDINGReview by DanGoodShot
Overall Rating
I originally bought these just for training. After testing them for performance, I dropped the Fed hst and now carry what I train with. Loaded to +p with HS-6, wcc brass, cci 500 primers through an H&K VP9. If the situation ever comes up I WILL know what to expect from my setup. (Posted on 12/17/2015)
very consistent and reliableReview by "JT"
Overall Rating
Very consistent in weight, reliably feeds in multiple 9mms. Easy to duplicate my carry round with these bullets, including felt recoil impulse. This enabes me to get a lot more of quality practice - economically.
Great shipping and customer service - head and shoulders above others! Highly recommend if you reload this weight and caliber! (Posted on 6/15/2015)

Last March, I ordered 1,000 9mm 124 gr JHPs. For some reason when the shipment arrived there was a bag of 500 bullets. I thought they possibly sent 2 boxes with 500 each. I followed up with an email and received the remaining 500 bullets in 3 days. Thanks Everglades for the level of Integrity you provide. (Posted on 4/16/2015)

I ordered 500 of these bullets. The order was shipped same day. Great service! And shipping was free.
Although I have not had a chance to load and shoot these bullets yet, a random check of about 20 bullets showed them to be very uniform and consistant. All were exactly .355 diameter and each weighed 124.4 grains plus or minus 1 tenth of a grain.
Wish I had ordered more since they are now out of stock. (Posted on 6/8/2013)

I been reloading for over 40+ yrs. I shot about every brand know in the USA & thought Speer Gold Dots give me the best expansion & penetration but these are just a good & loaded them in over 1500 ft. and they expand as good and hold together. They are a bargain as far as price goes & I will use them totally as soon as they get some more in. I tried them in 9mm & 357 Sig and they function perfect. (Posted on 3/29/2013)

Bought these after buying 500 of the 115 FMJ rounds week earlier (which were great as well) loaded these up in my XD shot great nice grouping at 25 and held together well in the softer stuff. Just got a 1K of the 124FMJ in looking forward to the weekend to test those will report back but noticed they are out of stock again. Next stop test with the 147JHPs. (Posted on 12/3/2012)

Tried various loads. Best so far 4.9gr Bullseye and 5.3gr Unique. Done some ballistic testing using pork rib making average hole of .373. Tested through a combination of 2 layers heavy denim, 2 layers of wool, 2 layers of sweat shirt, 2 layers of cotton t shirt, on top of pork ribs. All rounds expanded with an average diameter of .476-.483, largest being .743. Also tested through barrier of 3/8 drywall 4 inches apart and 1 inch chip board 4 inches apart. 6 out of 8 did not expand clogged with material. Weight retained was an average of 123.8 grains. Will do more testing later but I will be purchasing a lot more of these bullets. (Posted on 10/16/2012)
